Finding balance

Areas of Interest: exercise, balanced body and life, outdoors, hiking, sports

As a kid in St. Louis Park, Gina wanted to be an athletic trainer and the first woman in the NBA. Like an athletic trainer, she helps people recover from injury and return to the activities they enjoy. She has experienced injury in her own life over the years and felt frustrated when she was unable to participate in her life. Gina wanted to learn how to fix herself and to help other people find that same balance and healing within their own bodies.

Through her studies at Minnesota State University-Mankato, Gina learned about many of the incredible things the body is capable of and in her daily work, she sees the real-life results. She once had a patient who was barely able to move after a car accident. Now they are back to living an active life due to their work together. Gina loves working with patients to achieve these kinds of goals.

Outside of clinical practice, she loves sports, especially basketball. Gina likes being outside, seeking out adventure, spending time with her cat and two dogs, chasing tornadoes, and foam rolling (you should do this, too!).
