ChiroCenter treats all members of your family, from the youngest to the oldest. When the younger ones decide they’re ready to participate in athletics, it’s best to get a sports physical first to identify any existing issues and ensure that they can play safely. We know that people who are active are healthier, so to support our growing patients, we offer sports physicals.
The Minnesota State High School League requires all athletes in grades 7 through 12 to have a sports physical at least every three years, however, we recommend a yearly exam as young bodies grow and change rapidly. We want to keep kids healthy and on the playing field, so we’ll ask about broken bones, concussions, asthma, and other conditions that might land them on the bench, if not appropriately addressed.
With their vast knowledge of the human body and its movements, our practitioners can thoroughly examine and identify any existing or potential injuries for your young athlete. Many of our staff are former athletes themselves, so they’ve got great insight into the muscles and movements needed to perform in a safe and healthy way.

What to expect
We’ll do a full evaluation of your athlete, addressing their questions and concerns. If we notice anything that may impact their ability to compete safely, we’ll discuss it with you in depth and make recommendations for treatment. Please bring any required forms that you need completed for your school or organization.
